RAD Rent and Drive - Vehicle Rental Agreement
Reference: Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 482C - Peer-to-Peer Vehicle Sharing
1. RENTAL TERMS (Maximum 90 Days)
In accordance with Nevada NRS 482C, rental agreements through RAD Rent and Drive shall not exceed ninety (90) days. The minimum rental duration is 4 hours. Extensions beyond the agreed end date must be approved in writing by the Host and may be subject to additional fees.
2. RENTER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Renter must be at least 21 years of age (25 for luxury/performance vehicles)
- Renter must possess a valid driver's license for the entire rental period
- Renter agrees to use the vehicle only for lawful purposes
- Renter shall not sublease, assign, or transfer the rental to any other person
- Renter shall return the vehicle in the same condition as received
- Renter is responsible for all tolls, parking tickets, and traffic violations
- Renter shall not smoke in the vehicle or allow pets unless explicitly permitted
- Renter shall report any accidents, damage, or mechanical issues immediately
3. HOST RESPONSIBILITIES
- Host warrants that the vehicle is in safe, roadworthy condition
- Host maintains valid registration, insurance, and inspection as required by law
- Host will provide vehicle with at least 1/4 tank of fuel at pickup
- Host will provide accurate information about vehicle features and any known issues
4. INSURANCE AND LIABILITY
All trips booked through RAD Rent and Drive include RAD-provided coverage as required by Nevada NRS 482C, including minimum Nevada liability coverage, comprehensive and collision coverage, and uninsured/underinsured motorist protection.
5. GPS TRACKING DISCLOSURE
Vehicles listed on RAD may be equipped with GPS tracking devices for safety, security, and theft recovery purposes. Renters consent to GPS tracking during active rental periods.
6. CANCELLATION POLICY
- 24+ hours before start: Full refund
- Within 24 hours: 50% refund
- No-show or after start time: No refund
7. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, including Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 482C (Peer-to-Peer Vehicle Sharing).
